The release date for Stephen Graham's new Apple TV series "Nocturne" has been set. Previously known as "Lazarus," this 10-episode drama is written by Rowan Joffe and John Hlavin. The series also features well-known names like Liev Schreiber and Zazie Beetz in its cast. The four individuals are among the executive producers of "Nocturne," while Hlavin serves as the show's runner.

Graham achieved great success last year by winning eight awards at the Emmy Awards for "Adolescence." He served as both a writer and actor in that series; however, he will only act in "Nocturne." Graham is recognized for his roles in productions like "Snatch," "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man," and "Boardwalk Empire."

The series will premiere worldwide on October 30, 2026. This date is known as "Mischief Night" in the United States. Apple will release the first two episodes on the same day, followed by the other eight episodes every Friday until Christmas. Tim Van Patten will direct the first two episodes.

"Nocturne" tells the story of a former soldier and current homicide detective Jonah Lynn (Schreiber). Tired of the tough streets of Philadelphia, Jonah moves to a small town in West Pennsylvania for a peaceful life. However, when the town and his family are threatened by the cunning serial killer Jurek Walter (Graham), Jonah will go to great lengths to protect his loved ones.
