Apple TV has shared the first images of its new crime series "Nocturne," which is an exciting development for viewers interested in crime dramas. This series, consisting of 10 episodes, revolves around a serial killer thriller featuring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham. The show is adapted from the novels "Lazarus" and "The Sandman" by international bestselling author Lars Kepler.
The main character of the series, Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), is a former soldier and homicide detective who leaves Philadelphia in search of a quieter life in a small town in western Pennsylvania. However, he soon encounters a series of events that upend this plan. When the town is threatened by a clever serial killer named Jurek Walker (Graham), Jonah finds himself in a nightmare he wanted to avoid. Jurek's efforts to find his last missing victim also puts Jonah's adopted daughter, FBI agent Saga Bauer (Beetz), in the killer's crosshairs.
Among the creators of the series are Rowan Joffe (Tin Star) and showrunner John Hlavin (Shooter). Tim Van Patten (Masters of the Air), who directed the first two episodes, is one of the key contributors to the project.
