Based on Capcom's popular PlayStation II game Devil May Cry, this anime tells the adventures of Dante, a demon hunter. Born of a demon father (Sparda) and a human mother (Eva), Dante runs his own office called "Devil May Cry," where he makes a living from the jobs brought to him by Morrison. In the first episode, he is tasked with protecting a little girl named Patty, who is the heir to a large inheritance. The anime also features some characters from the game, such as Trish and Lady.
