Diclonius, considered the next step in human evolution, is distinguished by the two horns on their heads. Due to their high telekinetic powers, Diclonius are captured and kept in laboratories to prevent them from harming the human race. One day, an accident occurs, and a Diclonius manages to escape from the laboratory, leaving behind many casualties. As they complete their escape, they are shot in the head and fall into the sea. Two cousins rescue the Diclonius who has lost their memory, and the only thing they can say is Nyuu.
