Stardew Valley is a game known for its iconic 2D pixel art, a visual style that is beloved by many fans. However, fans are now eagerly anticipating the chance to experience this in 3D. A mod creator recognized in the community, spacechase0, is working on a free mod that transforms Stardew Valley into a 3D world. This mod allows players to interact with their pets, spouses, and villagers while also enabling them to carry out daily activities from a first-person perspective.

Spacechase0, also known as kittycatcasey on YouTube, has released a video demonstration showcasing what the project looks like. Currently, the mod is not available for download, so fans can only appreciate the project by watching the video. In the video, the player starts in a cozy room from a first-person perspective and steps into the outside world after interacting with their adorable family. Outside, they are seen picking blueberries, greeting their pets, and running in the garden.

However, not everything is perfect in this 3D world. The video highlights that most entities are still 2D; only the terrain has been designed in 3D. As trees, pets, and objects appear to be 2D, watching can become tiring over time. Spacechase0 acknowledged that they are aware of these shortcomings and are continuing to develop the project.

The mod creator stated that they have been working on the project for a long time and that the video only shows a very early version. They also emphasized that no artificial intelligence was used in the creation of this version. Stardew Valley fans are excited about the possibility of 3D gameplay, and this concept video has been met with great interest.
