Olivia Rodrigo has expressed a strong reaction against the propaganda used by the Trump administration through music. Of Filipino descent, Rodrigo condemned this situation in a comment on Instagram, stating, "Never use my songs to support your racist, hate-filled propaganda." In an interview with Dazed magazine last month, she shared her discomfort at witnessing such propaganda, saying, "It made me even angrier that my song was included in something so horrific and barbaric.

Rodrigo also brought this issue to light on the cover of British Vogue, describing the use of her music by the administration as "dystopian." While the artist's anger on this matter is quite evident, it seems she is seeking her true revenge in a different way. Rodrigo has launched a giveaway offering a chance to win tickets to the Daisy Chain Fields festival, encouraging participants to check their voter registration status, register, or explore voting resources.

The festival is planned as an event featuring only female artists, with performers including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Santigold, Sarah McLachlan, Mitski, The Breeders, Bikini Kill, and Stevie Nicks. Taking place on August 29 in Irvine, California, all net proceeds from this festival will be donated to charities focused on women and girls.

Daisy Chain Fields is designed to be more than just a concert. The organizers state that the festival will include an activism component, providing participants with resources on issues such as reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, and domestic violence prevention. In this context, it is noted that the event will be conducted in collaboration with numerous non-governmental organizations.
