No More Room In Hell 2 Returns After 15 Years

Jul 29, 20261 min read
After revitalizing the zombie genre, The Walking Dead series has inspired many games focused on battling the undead. These games could be played solo with immersive storytelling or alongside a few players. Despite the release of many great zombie games over the past twenty years, the number of new entries in this genre has significantly decreased compared to its golden age in the past.

While some series like Resident Evil have managed to fill the gaps, there is another iconic franchise making a comeback after a 15-year hiatus. No More Room In Hell 2 announced on its official YouTube channel that version 1.0 will be released on August 11. This is an exciting development for fans eagerly awaiting the classic zombie-themed survival horror series, which is returning to consoles since the first game launched in 2011.

No More Room In Hell 2 has been in early access for two years, and the full release is notable not only for bringing the game to consoles for the first time but also for the developers adding new features. In the new update, players will encounter many innovations such as a new survival mode, new maps, a single-player survival mode, tutorials, achievements, weekly missions, and character customizations.

It’s worth noting that the first early access version received mixed reactions from fans of the original game due to its unbalanced multiplayer implementation, repetitive gameplay loop, and other technical issues. However, the full release hopes to address many of these problems, giving the underwhelming zombie survival game a second chance. We will see if the full version of No More Room In Hell 2 can revitalize its player base; however, compared to other games in the genre, it may manage to stand out with the innovations it offers.
