Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan not only creates unique worlds and stories in the film industry but also aims to push the boundaries of filmmaking. In the film, fellow Oscar winner Matt Damon portrays Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, who embarks on a perilous ten-year journey to return home after the Trojan War. Odysseus has one singular goal during his seven years on the legendary island of Calypso (Charlize Theron) and while facing deadly obstacles: to reunite with his queen Penelope (Hathaway) and their son Telemachus (Holland). The cast also includes Lupita Nyong'o as Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, Zendaya as Athena, and Robert Pattinson as Antinous.
