A Doctor tells Helen and Todd about the extent of Glen's injuries. Helen goes in to the hospital room and tells Gaby to go home, but she refuses until she knows that Glen is OK. Todd says he tried to grab hold of Glen, Paul suggests that he may have accidently pushed Glen. When Todd says that he will try and get someone to look at his arm, Bob gets angry and tells Todd to leave it.

Lucy's holiday almost ends in tragedy and Gaby has to make a decision about her feelings for Glen. Madge gets some unexpected news that could change her life. Glen has to come to terms with being a paraplegic.

Paul considers more staff cuts at Lassiter's due to the hard effects of the recession, and Madge is adamant that her windfall will not change her life. Toby gets a new little friend, while Brenda organises a "ladies' night" at the Waterhole.

Dorothy receives a deadly cargo from Borneo. Paul plays dirty tricks at Glen's expense, to keep financially afloat when he realises his insurance has lapsed. Toby makes a sacrifice for Madge after she finds 'Homer' in the street. Faye announces her engagement to the surprise of Doug and Pam.

Helen and Dorothy have trouble with the deadly spider from Borneo, and Todd discovers the harsh truth about his father. Faye interferes in Doug's business on behalf of Nev Cusack.

Helen and Todd find themselves on the wrong side of the law. An old school friend of Brenda's puts her in an awkward position. Nev lays down a few rules when he discovers how much Faye has been interfering.

Lou Carpenter arrives in Ramsay Street and soon causes trouble for Madge, Toby and Brenda. Bob Landers is arrested and he accuses Todd of turning him in. Faye starts trying on wedding dresses in preparation for her big day.

A deep rift develops between Caroline and Christina over Paul's treatment of Glen. Lou resolves to marry Madge and finds a way to make Toby accept him. Brenda has second thoughts about her continuing search for 'Mr Right'.

Faye is sent packing by the Willises, and Lou and Guy reach an understanding after Guy comes to Lou's rescue at the pool. Phoebe and Todd decide to spend some quality time together, while Jim returns home from his trip and learns the news of Glen's accident.
