Mahiro Fuwa's family was mysteriously murdered a year ago, and Mahiro has vanished in search of his family's killer. Hakase Kusaribe, one of the most powerful wizards from the "Kusaribe" clan, has been imprisoned on an island by his enemies. While searching for someone he can contact, Hakase somehow finds Mahiro, and the two strike a deal.
