In the battle against vampires in Europe, the Hellsing Institute, the leading organization, and its secret weapon Alucard set out to fight a vampire that has nearly turned a village into zombies, feeding on their blood. The police forces sent to the same village earlier have been attacked, leaving only rookie officer Seras Victoria alive. Just as she is about to fall into the vampire's hands, Alucard enters, but during the fight, Seras is injured. Alucard tells her she is about to die and offers her two options: she can either die there or be reborn by drinking Alucard's blood. Seras chooses the latter. During their investigations, they encounter a new type of vampire. This type is not born naturally or created by a vampire bite but is formed through artificial means.
