Metal Fusion tells the story of a boy named Gingka Hagane, who embarks on a journey to rescue the forbidden beyblade El Drago from his village and protect it from evil hands. Throughout this journey, the foundation of his rivalry with Kyoya, which lasts for three seasons, and his friendship with Kenta, who will become one of his best friends, will be established. Gingka and his friends begin to gather points to enter a tournament organized by the villain Doji, who once used Kyoya for his own ambitions and works alongside Ryuga, the owner of El Drago, leading to a series of events.
