In tonight's episode of The Vampire Lestat, there was a special surprise for Anne Rice fans: a short teaser video for the new season of Mayfair Witches has been released. This series, as a sibling production within the Immortal Universe, has been absent since its second season ended in the spring of 2025. However, the return date has now been revealed.

In the short teaser, we see Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario) trying to leave the world of witchcraft behind as she wishes to return to her neurosurgery career. But this world is not willing to let her go: we see her eyes darkening and floating in the air during an attempt to heal a patient. Following that, a quick montage takes viewers to the famous town of Salem in Massachusetts to explore the origins and mythology of witchcraft.

The new season will feature many new actors, including Betsy Brandt from Breaking Bad, James Frain from Star Trek: Discovery, Eliza Scanlen from Dope Girls, and Omar Maskati from The Recruit. Although a specific release date has not yet been set, it has been confirmed that the series will return to AMC in 2027.

In the second season, Rowan and other members of the Mayfair family attempted to resurrect the centuries-old entity Lasher (Jack Huston), whom Rowan gave birth to in the previous season. However, when Lasher began hunting family members, Rowan had to turn to her dark father Cortland (Harry Hamlin) for help. This time, they will need assistance from a power even worse than Cortland.
