'House of the Dragon' has topped HBO Max's streaming charts with its third season and continues to captivate audiences. After a long wait, this season kicked off with three impressive episodes that dispelled critics' doubts. These episodes magnificently celebrated the show's return and offered viewers unforgettable moments.

The season opener, "Salt and Sea, Fire and Blood", began with the Battle of Gullet, resulting in heavy losses for both heroes and villains. In the second episode, "Queen's Landing", Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) finally seized the Iron Throne after two seasons of struggles. The third episode, "Rhaenyra Triumphant", presented a complex and bold perspective on taking over the kingdom. However, it remains to be seen how the fourth episode will perform following these three magnificent installments.

After a brief introduction in the initial episodes, the next episode of 'House of the Dragon' focuses on introducing viewers to Ormund Hightower (James Norton). Ormund deceived Rhaenyra and Daemon (Matt Smith) with a lowborn child disguised as Alicent's (Olivia Cooke) youngest son, Daeron. Ormund's forces, anticipating Rhaenyra to learn the truth, completely took over the town of Tumbleton in the southwest of King's Landing, much to the local populace's discontent. Ormund, with his manipulative nature, is indifferent to this unrest, as he has other concerns, such as keeping an eye on the real Daeron (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth).

Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) and his dragon Vhagar went missing after the siege at Harrenhal. When Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin) reported that Rhaenyra had taken King's Landing, Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel) was quite upset about the situation. Ormund did not take the news from Gwayne (Freddie Fox) well, knowing that his power would be completely diminished without Vhagar. Daeron's smaller dragon Tessarion won't be able to do much against the larger and older dragons like Syrax and Caraxes.
