After a long break, Steven Spielberg is returning to theaters this summer with his new sci-fi film "Disclosure Day." Starring stars like Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, and Colman Domingo, this film explores the day humanity discovers it is not alone in the universe. As a director who has made his mark with iconic franchises like "Indiana Jones" and "Jurassic Park," as well as Oscar-winning war epics like "Saving Private Ryan," Spielberg has established himself as one of the greatest names in cinema history. Despite nearing 80, it seems Spielberg has no intention of slowing down.

One of Spielberg's lesser-known works in the sci-fi genre is "Ready Player One." This film, featuring Olivia Cooke and Tye Sheridan in lead roles, takes place in a dystopian universe where people mostly live out their dreams in a video game world called OASIS. Based on the first book of Ernest Cline's two-book series, this film has confirmed that a second live-action film is on the way. Recently, Ten Speed announced that the graphic adaptation of the "Ready Player One" novel will be released exclusively at Target on October 6 of this year, with a wide distribution planned for 2027.

The film "Disclosure Day" will hit theaters on June 12. Universal Pictures shared a chilling synopsis of the film: "If you found out you weren't alone, and someone could come and prove it, would that scare you?" David Koepp, the screenwriter of the first "Jurassic Park" film, wrote the screenplay for "Disclosure Day." The film also features names like Eve Hewson, Mckenna Bridger, Wyatt Russell, Colin Firth, and Elizabeth Marvel.

Additionally, you can watch the film "Ready Player One" on VOD platforms in America. Don't forget to follow Collider for more updates and news on the two graphic adaptation projects.
