Far away from the peace and tranquillity of Kailash, Tarakasura evokes Lord Brahma. Impressed by his disciple, Brahma appears before Tarakasura , who asks Brahma to bless him with immortality. But, Brahma refuses to fulfil Tarakasura 's demand. Tarakasura tricks Brahma and requests that he shall be killed only by Shiv's progeny. Brahma grants T?rak?sura his wish. Devlok is terrified of this prospect as Tarakasura wants to take over the realm of the gods.
A worried Goddess Parvati tells Lord Shiva that the portrait of the child she drew has somehow become disfigured. Lord Shiva assures Goddess Parvati that the image is a reflection of what is awaiting her in the near future. When Lord Shiva informs her that they will have a second child soon, Goddess Parvati asks him about the promise he had made to the Devas.
Shiv promises Parvati that her fast will not be broken because of him in the future again. Parvati goes to a secluded spot and begins her tapasya. Vishnu appears before Parvati and fulfils her wish: Parvati will bear a child who bears all the qualities of the Shiv, Vishnu, and Brahma.
Goddess Parvati's fury brings cataclysmic events upon the entire universe. Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma urge Goddess Parvati to keep herself calm and await Lord Shiva at Kailas. Lord Vishnu assures her that she will bring Lord Shiva back from Gajasur's captivity. Later, at Kailas, Goddess Parvati moulds a human figure from mud.
After the birth of Ganesh, Parvati sees that her son is blessed with the powers of the Tridev. The disciples of Mahadev, meet Vishnu, who informs them that no one can defeat Gajasur. Meanwhile, Shani Dev learns about Parvati's son, Ganesh. He learns that the Devlok is eager to catch a glimpse of Ganesh. Shani Dev also wants to see Ganesh out of curiosity. What will happen when Shani Dev meets Ganesh?
Shani Dev is eager to see Ganesh. Meanwhile, Parvati is waiting for Mahadev to arrive and meet his son, Ganesh. Then, Shani Dev arrives in Kailash to see Ganesh. Chandradev informs Shani Dev that he can see Ganesh through his reflection in the water. But, upon seeing his reflection, Shani Dev makes the mistake of coming in front of Ganesh.
Shani Dev realises his mistake but its too late as the curse takes an effect on Ganesh. He tries to escape but Parvati catches hold of Shani Dev. Parvati takes the avatar of Durga to teach a lesson to Shani Dev. After punishing Shani Dev, Parvati pacifies Ganesh. Later. Parvati anticipates the arrival of Mahadev and asks Ganesh not to allow anyone to step inside.
Parvati bestows powers on Ganesh to equip with powers that can keep the forces of evil at bay. Then, Mahadev arrives at Kailash but Ganesh refuses to let him inside. Ganesh is oblivious of Mahadev's identity and naively questions him about it. Mahadev's disciples are enraged by Ganesh's behaviour.
When Shiva arrives at the doorstep of Kailash, Ganesh refuses to let him in. Displeased, Shiva is forced to go back along with Nandi. Later, Nandi tries to politely convince him and lure him into eating fruits and sweets. But Ganesha continues to guard the door, infuriating Nandi and Shiva.
The disciples of Mahadev urge Ganesh to let them inside but Ganesh refuses to do so. Ganesh uses the powers bestowed on him by Parvati to counter the attacks from Mahadev's disciples. Ganesh proves invincible as his powers are too strong the inhabitants of Kailash.
Ganesh fights off every attack from the disciples of Mahadev. The disciples approach Mahadev and plead with him to take matters onto his own hands. Mahadev does not take the insult of his disciples lightly.
While Parvati remains oblivious of the events outside her abode, Ganesh fights off the attacks from the Gods of the Devlok. Saraswati asks Brahma to reveal Ganesh's identity to the Gods. Ganesh is angered when he is attacked by Indra.
Yama confronts Ganesh in an attempt to overpower him using his divine powers. But, his powers are no match for Ganesh, who has been bestowed with powers from Parvati herself. Then, Bharma, himself arrives with Vishnu to persuade Ganesh to drop his guard. But, things go out of hand when Ganesh attacks Bharma.
Mahadev is forced to unleash his wrath upon Ganesh as the naive son of Parvati is refusing to let his guard down and let the disciples of Mahadev inside. After Ganesh makes the mistake of attacking Brahma and Vishnu, Mahadev decides to end it all for Ganesh. After the cataclysmic event comes to an end, Mahadev and the Gods realise that Ganesh was Parvati's son.
Yamraj appears before Ganesha and tells him that he no longer has the right to live on earth. Ganesha refuses to leave earth, saying that Goddess Parvati needs his presence. An infuriated Yamraj forcefully tries to take Ganesha to the Yamlok. Yamrajs act incense Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva, who take the form of Ardhnarishwar.
Mahadev reveals to Parvati that he has beheaded Ganesh. Parvati breaks down in tears. She blames the Gods for forcing Ganesh to sacrifice his life to keep his vows. The rage turns Parvati into a vengeful avatar and she takes on the Rudra Roop.
The Gods fear that Parvati's Rudra Roop will bring only destruction and death to the world. Parvati is determined to kill all the Gods who caused the death of Ganesh. The powers of the Gods are no match in front of Parvati's divine forces. To bring an end to destruction, Parvati asks Mahadev to bring Ganesh back from death.
Mahadev assures Parvati that he will bring back Ganesh from death. Parvati brings an end to the destruction and then Maharishi Kashyap appears before Parvati and informs her that Ganesh's death is a result of his curse. Then, Mahadev asks the Gods to find a suitable head to fit Ganesh's decapitated body.
The Gods find a new born whose head is pointing towards the south. But, the new born is no human but an elephant. Then, Yamraj appears before Lord Vishnu and informs that he has come to take the newborn's life. After Yamraj takes the soul of the new born elephant, Lord Vishnu arrives in Kailash and informs Mahadev, who then breathes life into Ganesh.
Mahadev breathes life into Ganesh but, Parvati, seeing that her son is now unrecognizable, and does not want to accept him. Ganesh, too, is unaware of his new identity. Mahadev informs Ganesh that he is his son and he was forced to behead him to bring an end to his arrogant behaviour which caused much displeasure to the Gods.
The Gods are worried that Parvati has still not accepted Ganesh as her son. Mahadev informs Brahma that fate will take its own course and eventually things will fall into place. Meanwhile, Parvati remembers the moments she spent with her son, while Ganesh tries his best to evoke the same motherly love Parvati felt earlier. Then, Ganesh decides to bring a fruit that grows on the top of the mountain for Patvati. However, while doing so, Ganesh loses balance and falls from the top of the mountain.
Ganesha's love for his mother, Parvati, melts her heart and she finally accepts Ganesh. Parvati appreciates the beauty that lies within Ganesh. Brahma announces that Ganesha's birth has rid the world of evil and gives him a boon, that he will be called as Mangal Murti from now onwards.
Sindhura hears about the celebrations in Kailash and decides to find out about it. Meanwhile, all Gods arrive at Mahadev's abode to bless Ganesh. Sindhura arrives at Devlok and challenges Indra Dev.
Indra Dev is worried about the arrival of Sindhura. He confronts Sindhura, who asks him the reason behind the celebrations in Kailash. Indra Dev's powers prove no match against Sindhura's powers. Sindhura overpowers Indra Dev and forces him to talk about Ganesh.
Sindhura peaks into Indra Dev's mind and finds out about Ganesh's identity. Indra Dev tries to attack Sindhura but the Asur overpowers him. Sindhura then sets his eyes on Brahma. Then, curiosity takes the better of Ganesh and in his eagerness to find out about the crescent moon on Mahadev's head, he takes the crescent moon in his hands and starts playing with it.
Chandra Dev has had enough of the situation as Ganesh continues to play with the crescent moon. Nandi approaches Mahadev and informs him that the crescent moon is with Ganesh. Meanwhile, Sindhura visits Brahma, who informs him that his death will come at the hands of Ganesh.
Parvati notices that the crescent moon is missing. She is informed by Nandi that Ganesh has the crescent moon with him. Parvati asks Mahadev's disciples to ask Ganesh to hand over the crescent moon. But, Nandi is reluctant to do so, forcing Parvati to ask her son. Meanwhile, Brahma reveals the birth story of Sindhura, who is at Devlok to find out about Ganesh.
Ganesh is eager to taste the food kept in front of him. But, Parvati wants him to take a bath first before satisfying his hunger. Meanwhile, Brahma is worried that Sindhura will use his powers, a boon from Brahma himself, to create chaos in Devlok.
Parvati is worried as Ganesh is not to be found in Kailash. She asks Nandi to find her son before he finds himself in trouble. Meanwhile, Ganesh is spending time with Vishnu and Lakshmi. When he leaves, Ganesh takes away Panchajanya. Now, Vishnu has to get back Panchajanya from Ganesh. But, a demon, Vajrantar, is on the lookout for Ganesh.
Ganesha takes Lord Vishnu's shell and runs away. Laxmi tells Vishnu to go and fetch it from him. At Kailash, Parvati and Shiva are worried about Ganesha's sudden disappearance. But they are overjoyed to see Ganesha when he comes back from Vaikunth with a shell. Vajrantak makes an evil plan to kill Ganesha when he sees him running with the shell. Will he succeed?
