Kendine has karakterleri ve sert kurallarıyla renkli bir Roman mahallesi olan Çıngıraklı’nın “koruyucusu” konumundaki mafya lideri Kartal ile Organize Büro’nun gözü kara ve kural tanımaz komiseri Efe’nin arasındaki kovalamaca oyunu bir cinayet vakasıyla ters yüz olur. Emniyet güçlerinden ve suç dünyasındaki rakiplerinden aynı anda kaçmaya çalışan Kartal’ın yolu katille kesişir. 

Kartal, Efe’nin anlaşma teklifini kabul etmese de Efe katili bulabilmek için birlikte çalışmaları gerektiğinden emindir. Kartal, Efe’den kurtulmaya çalışırken, Mesut’a verdiği zararın bedelini beklemediği kadar ağır bir şekilde ödemek zorunda kalır. Suç dünyası içindeki konumunu korumak için Nezih’le bir mücadeleye giren Kartal, çareyi onun kızı olan Bahar’da arar. Cinayetlerin üzerindeki gizem perdesi biraz olsun aralanınca Kartal bu defa, Efe’nin teklifini yeniden düşünmek zorunda kalır.

Kartal’a gönderilen künye, Efe ile birlikte katilin izini sürebilecekleri tek ipucudur. Fakat ikisinin dışında künyenin önemini fark eden biri daha vardır. Efe, Kartal’la anlaşması sonucunda babasıyla yüzleşirken Nezih’le girdiği mücadeleye devam eden Kartal son kez şansını denemek için Bahar’ın karşısına çıkar. İrfan ilk defa sırrını öğrenmeye yaklaşan biriyle karşılaşıp panikler. Fakat meseleyi soğukkanlılıkla çözdüğünü düşündüğü anda yeni bir sürprizle karşılaşır.

İrfan Oktay karşılaşması her ikisini de derinden etkiler. İrfan haklılığını anlatamamanın sıkıntısı ile boğuşurken, Oktay yıllardır şişelerin dibine gömdüğü acı mazisiyle yüzleşir. Kartal’ın mahallede sakladığı Bahar, Kartal’ın asıl yüzünü görünce aslında neyle karşı karşıya olduğunu iyice anlar ve tedirginlik yaşar. Efe’nin verdiği sözü tutmaması Leyla’nın öfkesini kabartır ve Efe’yle yüzleşmesine neden olur. Kartal ise Efe’nin ihanetiyle sarsılır ama çabuk toparlanır ve intikam almak için Efe’ye karşı hamle yapar. Eli kolu Kartal’ın bir hamlesiyle bağlanan Efe, Kartal’a rağmen ya da Kartal ile beraber hareket etmek arasında bir seçim yapmak zorunda kalır.

Efe, burunlarının dibine kadar girmiş olan katilin izini sürmeye çalışırken kendini Kartal’ın düğün telaşının ortasında bulur. Kartal, Nezih’e karşı son kozu olan bu düğünü sağ salim tamama erdirmek için uğraşırken katilin mahallede olabileceğini öğrenir. İrfan ise bir sonraki hedefinden edindiği bilgiyle Efe ve Kartal’ı şaşırtıcı bir planın içine sürükler. Leyla tarafından sınava tabi tutulan Efe’ye gelen esrarengiz bir mesaj Kartal’ı tam da düğün gününde şoka uğratır.

İrfan’ın mesajıyla yıkılan Kartal, Efe’nin desteğiyle zar zor düğüne gelir. Düğününde dosta düşmana yıkılmadığını kanıtlamaya çalışırken, bir yandan da içi içini yemektedir. Efe, Kartal’ı toparladığını sanırken, düğünde Leyla’dan aldığı darbeyle kendisi dağılır. Kardeşi dediği İrfan’ın ortak yaralarını deşmesiyle zayıf tarafı ortaya çıkan Kartal, en ummadığı yerden bir yara daha alınca yeni bir düşman edinir. İrfan’ın ise etrafındaki çember iyice daralmaktadır. Üstünü kapadığını sandığı bir cinayetin karşısına çıkmasıyla, İrfan en mahrem sırrını açığa çıkarmak zorunda kalır.

Kartal, İrfan’ı yakalamak için babası Oktay'dan beklediği desteği alamayınca büyük hayal kırıklığı yaşar. Yine de pes etmeyen Kartal, Efe’yle beraber İrfan’ın izini sürer ama ikili kendilerini hiç hesapta olmayan bir tehlikenin içinde bulur. İrfan’a karşı yaptıkları bu hamle, İrfan’ın oyun alanını iyice daraltır. Kartal’a ve mahalleliye unutamayacakları bir ders vermeye kararlı İrfan, ses getirecek bir hamle yapar. Fakat İrfan’ın hamlesi, Oktay’ın dahiliyle ummadığı bir sonuç doğurur.

Kimliği ortaya çıkan İrfan’ın şehirden kaçmaktan başka yolu yoktur. Kartal ve Efe ellerindeki “takma” isimle İrfan’ın peşine düştüklerinde beklemedikleri birinin radarına girerler. İrfan ortalardan kaybolmadan önce annesinin ısrarı ile Kartal’a bir şans daha verir ve Kartal’a hayatının en çetin ikilemlerinden birini yaşatır. Efe, bir yandan Leyla ile arasını düzeltmeye çalışırken bir yandan da Kartal’ı İrfan’dan korumaya çalışır. Öte yandan İrfan’ın bir sonraki adımı Kartal ile Efe’yi hiç beklemedikleri bir yerden vuracaktır.

Efe, Kartal’ın İrfan’ı serbest bıraktığını öğrenir ve Leyla’nın kaçırılmasında onun da payı olduğunu düşünerek büyük bir öfkeye kapılır. Kartal’la birlikte Leyla’nın peşine düşen Efe, bu süreçte çok zor bir seçim yapmak zorunda kalır. Leyla’yı kurtarmak için sınırlarını sonuna kadar zorlayan Efe’nin duygusal tepkileri Kartal’ın da gözünden kaçmaz. Leyla’nın ortadan kaybolmasıyla büyük bir sarsıntı geçiren Kartal’a bir darbe de Nezih'ten geliyor. Kartal Nezih’ten alacağı intikamı planlarken Bahar’ın hamlesi herkesi şaşırtacak.

İrfan, Efe’yi öldürmek için gizlice evine girer. Ama Efe’nin gizli ajandasıyla karşılaşınca, ona önemli bir mesaj bırakır. Efe, İrfan’ın mesajını çözmek için Kartal’a geldiğinde, Kartal’la Nezih arasında başlayan savaşı öğrenir. Kartal savaşın sonunu galip olarak görmeye, Efe ise kimse zarar görmeden savaşı bitirmeye kararlıdır. Leyla’nın uyarılarına rağmen planını hayata geçiren Efe, kendisini büyük bir değişimin eşiğinde bulur. Kartal, Nezih’le savaşında hayatta kalabilmek için zekası kadar Bahar’a ihtiyacı olduğunu anlar. İrfan ise hiç kimsenin beklemediği bir manevrayla yeni oyununun ilk hamlesini yapar.

Kartal ve Efe, İrfan’la anlaşmaya yanaşmak istemese de Baybars’ı asla bulamayacaklarını bildikleri için onunla çalışmaya mecbur olduklarını anlarlar. Planlarını adım adım gerçekleştirmek için harekete geçecekleri sırada ilk hedefleri olan Azad onları kendi ayağına getirir ve bu buluşma her ikisi için de büyük bir şok etkisi yaratır. Babasının ölümüyle her şeyini kaybeden Bahar ise içini Leyla’ya döker. Aralarında kurulan bu bağ ise Kartal ve Efe’nin yeni rakibi Azad’a karşı birleşmelerini sağlayacaktır. Efe’nin ise bu zorlu ve güçlü rakibi dize getirmek için Kartal’la beraber kurdukları oyunda Kartal’dan bile gizlediği ayrı bir planı vardır. Fakat oyunu kazandıklarını düşündükleri anda onları tekrar İrfan’a bağlayan yeni biriyle tanışırlar

Kartal and Efe manage to reach Çetin with İrfan's guidance. Çetin enables Kartal and Efe to win a great victory against Azade. But Çetin, who has a personal animosity with Baybars, has a special agenda that he hides from everyone on the way to Baybars. Bahar begins to hide some things from Kartal as Adnan confuses her. Leyla is determined to tell Efe's secret to her brother Kartal. When Azade, who does not write defeat in her book, makes an unexpected move to Kartal and Efe, everything changes.

Kartal accepts the dangerous task given to him by Azade in order to find a solution to the financial difficulties in the neighborhood. When Kartal, who takes action despite Efe, comes face to face with death, things become inextricable. Oktay, who wants to protect his family, asks Efe to find out why Neriman is meeting with Ferhan. Learning that Leyla also met with Ferhan, Efe confronts Leyla. Bahar prepares a surprise for Kartal with the help of Leyla and manages to melt the ice between them. The inclusion of Korkmaz, one of Baybars' special men, whom Kartal will face in his new position, will have unexpected results.

When Kartal thinks that the end is near, he recovers with unexpected help from Efe and Çetin. Knowing that Kartal will pursue his revenge on Korkmaz, Efe tries to stop him, but his deep bond with Oktay causes him to make an unexpected choice. Çetin knows that Kartal's path is dangerous and tells Efe to restrain Kartal for his sake. When Efe thinks he has solved Çetin's mystery, he realizes that Çetin has much more information about him than he thought. When Bahar decides to confront Azade, she faces the truth that will shock her. Kartal, on the other hand, enters into a bargain with İrfan in order to bring his revenge plan to an end.

Kartal's bargain with İrfan causes him to get an unexpected reaction from Efe. With this anger inside, Efe is preparing a hard move against Kartal. After Bahar learns the truth about her father's death, she puts her plan into action and surprisingly changes the target of Korkmaz's attack. Kartal takes action when he realizes Korkmaz's threat. Neriman, who is under probation of İrfan, whom Kartal could not hold in his hand, takes a big risk upon the secret message.

The decision that Neriman makes as a result of confronting Baybars causes Baybars to take a step that will include İrfan. Kartal, even more, sharpened after Bahar's last move, makes a clever plan against Korkmaz. But she is not aware that behind this plan, Efe has set a big trap for him. Çetin realizes that he underestimates his opponents while showing his side in the conflict between Kartal and Efe. Kartal, who no longer trusts anyone, manages to secure himself against Çetin, but a nasty surprise awaits him.

Kartal and Leyla are in for a shock when the secret that Neriman has kept for a lifetime is revealed. Kartal's punishment of Neriman ignites the irreversible war between Şahin and Kartal. Efe gets very close to seeing the end of his game, which he started with the support of Çetin in order to let Azade, Korkmaz and Baybars in with Kartal. When Çetin says yes to the offer from Baybars to reunite with his mother, the hunt and the hunters change places.

When Kartal returns to the neighborhood, he sees that everything has changed and is shaken. Çıngıraklı is now under Şahin's control. Seeing that he is not wanted in the neighborhood, Kartal is going to leave everything behind and walk away, but it is Leyla who shakes him and brings him to his senses. Learning that he has a child with Bahar, Kartal takes action to reunite his family with his own child at any cost. For this reason, he first confronts Efe, but finds Efe in a situation he never expected. Kartal makes a big plan to bring Efe back to himself, and Kartal's path crosses with İrfan once again in this plan.

Although Kartal is in pain of having to sacrifice Ferhan, he is aware that he must activate the revenge plan he inherited from him. In the surprise confrontation of Efe and Çetin, everyone sheds their stones on their skirts. Kartal reminds him that despite all he has learned, the target of all three is the same person. The steps of the compulsory cooperation between Kartal, Efe and Çetin are taken. In the first battle they won together against Şahin, they get an unexpected response and Kartal becomes Korkmaz's target. While trying to stop Bahar, who is about to leave the country with her son, Kartal, with the support of Efe and Çetin, will try to take her revenge on Şahin, who cooperated with the man who shot his father.

Before Kartal can fully experience the excitement of reuniting with his son and Bahar, an unexpected attack overshadows his happiness. Kartal, driven mad by the fear of losing Ateş and Bahar, takes action to take revenge. When he learns who the perpetrator is, he makes a request to Kartal. Kartal's attack affects Efe deeply. Efe, who comes to Leyla for fear of losing the woman she loves, acts much more courageously this time. Şahin confronts Azade as a result of the plan he turned behind his back, but he puts into action a plan that even Azade would not have guessed. While Kartal, Efe and Çetin are preparing to deal a big blow to Baybars, someone they never expected helps them. Baybars, on the other hand, makes the most serious move to overcome the defeats he has suffered and takes a step that will completely change the game.

The most brutal move of Baybars, Kılıç, leaves great destruction in the places it passes as it is included in the game. Kılıç's brutality intimidates Şahin. Şahin makes a plan with Neriman to eliminate Kılıç. While Kartal and Efe are busy with their wedding preparations, Şahin's game pits Kartal and Çetin against each other. Cetin, who realizes that Kılıç has returned, confronts his brother. As a result of the harsh confrontation between the two, Çetin makes an unexpected offer to Kartal and Efe to get rid of Kılıç.

While the Çaka family is making preparations for the wedding with excitement from all sides, Kılıç is on their neck without them noticing. Realizing that after Kartal's last move, Kılıç's revenge plan, which he will take with his own methods, can come true at any moment, Şahin tries to consolidate his position. Kartal, who was dispersed by Kılıç's blow at the wedding, confronts Şahin. In the fierce fight between them, Şahin learns that Kılıç has done much more harm to his family than he thought.

Baybars gives Kılıç, who killed Neriman, the task of bringing back Çetin, the only memory of the woman he loves. While looking for Çetin, Kılıç encounters Efe and a duel begins between the two. While Kartal is trying to protect his family in this process, Kılıç will take a step that Kartal did not calculate.

Thanks to Çetin, Kartal saves Konyalı, but he is determined not to leave Çetin with Baybars. When Bahar realizes that a war similar to the past has begun, she decides to fight alongside Kartal instead of running away. Bahar, who first secures Ateş, then takes action to help Kartal with a clever plan. While Kartal and Efe are struggling to keep the whole family together, they encounter a move they never expected.

Although Kartal and Efe managed to save Çetin, they realize that Baybars will play the game much harder this time. Efe's move to arrest Adnan has tied Baybars' hands, but he thinks that Kartal is the one who will save him from this situation. With the help of Kılıç, he kidnaps Bahar and offers Kartal a deal. Although Efe and Çetin are not sure of Kartal's decision, the possibility of Ateş being in danger will make all three of them dock.

Kartal does not accept that he has lost his favorite woman in life, Bahar. While trying to suppress his pain, his old friend Ferhan, who understands this pain best, appears before him. Ferhan gives Kartal the strength to take action for revenge. Efe and Çetin are aware that they need to bring Kartal back to their senses, even though they missed Kılıç and Baybars at the last moment. But they are always one step behind Kartal, who walks to his death alone in pursuit of revenge. After the tension between Kılıç and Baybars due to Bahar's death, Baybars is forced to continue his escape plan alone. The moment Kartal thinks that he has cornered Baybars, he has to make a choice again.

Having difficulty facing the death of his father, Kılıç begins to eliminate anyone who knows how Baybars was killed. Kılıç puts his brother Çetin, who had a share in the murder of Baybars, on the death list along with Kartal. When the sword strikes most fiercely for revenge, it does more damage to one of the family members. Seeing that violence only breeds more violence, Leyla takes Efe's side against Kartal. Determined to protect his family, Efe turns a blind eye and implements his plan to open the last curtain, including Şahin and Çetin.

It will not be easy for Efe to realize the plan that opened the last curtain with Kartal. The incident that Kartal causes as soon as he enters causes both of them to fall into Kılıç's lap when they least expect it. This incident angers Efe and their arguments with Kartal make both of them question their past. Kartal, who does not give up easily, prepares a big surprise ending for Kılıç when he comes across the ward with a new plan that he gets support from Çetin. The final showdown between Kartal and Kılıç will take everyone's breath away.
