• LAM HAI works so hard that he is able to change himself from a hawker into the owner of a seafood restaurant. There are seven members n his family and he work hard for them. Though his children has grown up, he hesitates to stop running "Hai Kee" as this proves his presence. On the first day of business, YLK HING orders the rest to work properly, thinking that she has the authority as she is the eldest daughter-in- law.

• WAI is able to protect himself under ROBERT's attack. HAI worries much but he does not exert it for his self-prestige.

• KAO and CHINS are misunderstood and a scandal of them spreads in the neighbourhood. KAO is angry and scolds then.

• KANG is happy as she has a chance to work in Shui Lung Department Store as a lift operator. When she tells her family happily, everyone focuses on SAN as SAN will appear in an advertisement. KONG is acquainted with being neglected.

• Being seen by a journalist, MAN CHUN and SAN are regarded as lovers. YLK NAM is discontented as she thinks that SAN aims at fame. MO CHING affirms her idea and YUK NAM does not like SAN.

• CHING knows that WAI lies to them and though WAI tells nothing, CHIN figures cut what has happened. To pay the debt, WAI works in "Hai Kee" again but in his mind he has his own plan for his career.

• WAI has no faith of KEE, thinking that she will not repent. KEE is unhappy to be looked down upon. Moreover FUNG is lurked by her enemies and dies. She decides to act good.

• KEE entangled by ROBERT and luckily WAI helps her to overcome the situation.

• MAN CHUN requests SAN to marry him. SAN is impressed and agrees to have engagement with him. However the marriage is opposed by MAN CHUN's family as they regard SAN having a low social status.

• SAN is a naive girl and this gives a chance to TING FANG and MO CHING to back bite her in front of YUK NAM.

• KAO does not know the real relationship between CHINE and TIN. He states that he is envy of TIN and PH HANG. CHIING is embarrassed.

• CHING is unable to walk properly as she has not completely recovered. She is depressed as she cannot go to see TIN. One day, she asks KEE to take her to meet TIN in the garden. There KAO witnesses their intimate relationship and all are embarrassed. CHING tells KAO their secret and begs him to keep it and KAO promises her and he tries to hide his love deep in his heart.

• WAI decides to quit his job after he sees that TAT and HING trick an old woman to buy a haunted house.

• Although HONG MING's private business goes well, he still feels inferior in front of the Sung.

• TIN wants to tell SUET YI the truth but AH HANG lies to her first. Being persuaded by her mother, SUET YI believes that CHING should be responsible for the accident happened to AH HANG and she decides to take revenge. KANG bears a baby for MAN HONG and he convinces her to have abortion. At the last moment KANG decides to keep the baby. FAI is angry as he knows this but KANG deter MINGs to protect MAN HONG and she does not tell the father of the baby. All her family members suggest that KANG should not keep the baby and it is the first time that KANG does not take their words. FWI is so angry that he wants to drive KANG away and CHING stops him. CHING sends KANG to stay in KAO's home.

• SUET YI uses tricks to disclose the relationship between TIN and CHING.CHING is not forgiven by her family and she is humiliated by HEUNG and YUK HING.

• MO CHING reports the fight between MAN CHUN and WAI to the police to stir the troubled water. MAN CHUN does not accuse WRI but HAI still thinks that the Songs look down upon his family. Therefore HAI goes to argue with them.

• KITTY was tortured by her husband after she had migrated abroad. Therefore she returns and asks WAI to help her. For chivalry, WAI takes good care of her.

• KITTY thinks that she can use tricks to get WAI hack but it is a vain attempt. Therefore she changes her mind and tries to spoil the relationship between NIAI and KEE.

• WAI begs KEE to marry him and KEE promises. HAI is excited to hear the news and starts the arrangement for the wedding with KAO.

• KEE insists to marry WHI when he is in financial difficulties. She knows that she is not going to have extravagant life and she knows that the ceremony must be simple to save money. However CHING lends WWI money to hold a banquet. HAI and WAI have an argument again and CHING settles it down.

• KANG finds that men are not trustworthy after the incidence with HONG MING. She decides to be independent and brings her child up.

• SUET YI tricks TAT, forcing him to make a choice between her and YUK HING.TAT decides to leave YUK HING.

• MAN CHUN does not know what to do and SAN gives him courage to stand up again. They have more thorough understanding of each other and they decide to continue their marriage.

• TONG LUNG appears in front of KEE and threatens her to give him money. KEE wants to hide up her past but this only causes more misunderstanding.

• WAI and KEE enjoy their small family life after they have left the Lams.

• CHING is in a dilemma as TIN wants her to stay with him. KAO finally has to gut to disclose his love in front of CHING. CHING does not know what to do. At Mid-autumn Festival, TAT misses YUK HING and wants to visit her but his plan is disrupted by SUET YI who entangles him.

• When SAN knows that YUK NAM has requested MAN CHUN to work in "Shui Lung" again, she objects to it. However MAN CHUN does not want to shock YUK NAM and for his family, he decides to accept the duty though he has to leave SAN again.

• TAT is forced by SUET YI to divorce with YUK HING. YUK HING tries to be calm and discusses with TAT about SUET YI's character, hoping that he will change his mind but at last TAT leaves her.

• TAT's business comes to a failure and is in serious debt. He goes to beg HAI to help him. HAI is shocked.
