  Kara Sevda, 14 Ekim 2015'te Star TV'de yayınlanmaya başlayan yeni dizidir. Dizinin başrollerinde Burak Özçivit, Neslihan Atagül ve Kaan Urgancıoğlu yer almaktadır. Yapımcılığını Kerem Çatay'ın üstlendiği dizinin yönetmen koltuğunda Hilal Saral bulunmaktadır. Senarist kadrosunda Anıl Eke, Özlem Yılmaz ve Burcu Görgün'ün bulunduğu dizinin oyuncu kadrosunda ayrıca; Kürşat Alnıaçık,Burak Sergen Zeyno Eracar, Orhan Güner, Neşe Baykent, Barış Alpaykut, Melisa Aslı Pamuk yer alıyor. Dizinin çekimleri 1. bölümdeki maden kazası(Zonguldak) hariç İstanbul ilinde gerçekleşmektedir. Dizide madende bir facia yaşandıktan sonra hayatı değişen genç bir maden mühendisinin hikayesi anlatılmaktadır. Genç madenciyi Burak Özçivit canlandırıyor.

  Nihan’s memories resurface when she falls overboard again. While Kemal comes back to İstanbul to deal with some business, Emir runs out of patience and threatens Nihan. Emir gets his hopes high about Nihan after her encounter with Banu and he has a meeting with Kemal, who gives him a lecture. Meanwhile, Nihan is having second thoughts about her past with Kemal. Emir is excited about the contract and Kemal comes up with a plan to shock him. Someone unexpected shows up at Emir and Nihan’s anniversary party.

  Nihan is still not over Kemal and feels uncomfortable with his presence in Istanbul. On the other hand, Emir wants to sleep with Nihan after five years, but Nihan still does not want him. Ozan finds out the truth behind the news about Emir and Banu and Tarık explains the real reason behind Kemal’s decision to stay in Istanbul. Kemal and his father have a heart-to-heart talk about Nihan and someone unexpected from Zonguldak surprises him. Meanwhile, Leyla comes up with a plan to make sure Nihan and Kemal meet.

  Emir devises a plan to learn more about Kemal. Önder and Leyla are still not over their past and Salih is hesitant about telling Kemal everything about him and Zeynep. Leyla visits her mother’s grave and comes across someone unexpected. While Önder wants to meet with Kemal to talk about Nihan, Ozan is excited to meet Zeynep. Kemal has to go on a television program. Emir pays a visit to Kemal to put his plan into action. Önder and Vildan must make a decision about the video Emir showed them. Meanwhile, Tarık gets more and more jealous about his brother.

  While Tarık starts working for Emir out of jealousy towards Kemal, Önder decides to do something about Emir’s threats. Zeynep gets the good news from the casting agency. Kemal is surprised by what he saw in Emir’s office and his family is excited to meet Asu. On the other hand, Emir keeps threatening Önder about Ozan. Emir encourages Ozan about his new mysterious friend. Kemal argues with his brother about his new client and Fehime decides to pay a visit to Nihan over their fight. Zeynep encounters someone unexpected at her job interview.

  While Kemal gets mad at his sister for lying and wants her to explain everything, Zeynep realizes that her phone is missing. Kemal pays a visit to the cast agency and learns something important about Emir’s plans. Müşfik is worried about Zeynep and wants Kemal to have a talk with her. Leyla suspects that someone is following Kemal, who fires Nihan in front of everyone. The police calls Vildan and tells her something that drives her crazy. Emir gives Ozan some advice about Zeynep and everyone gets mad at Zeynep because of the mail that arrived from the agency. Kemal officially declares war against Emir for what he has done to his family.

  Watching the happiness of Emir and Nihan from afar, Kemal's pain and revenge ambition are also striking. Now this game will be rewritten as a rule. Nihan does not want more controversy in his life.

  Kemal falls into deep suspicion when Nihan visits her new home. This suspicion is related to Emir and Nihan's marriage. Nihan, on the other hand, wants to warn Kemal, believing that Emir will harm Kemal.

  Kemal emerges from his night with Nihan with his suspicions about Emir and Nihan even more acute. Emir openly declares war on Kemal and attempts a big game for this cause.

  In response to Kemal's big question about Nihan's marriage, Nihan has nowhere to run. Nihan's confession will be the beginning of new questions for Kemal.

  When Nihan learns of the dangerous events that happened to Kemal, she does her best to stop him. The trail that Kemal will reach by risking his life will be the key to the secret of "that night".

  Kemal decides to take a very risky path to free Nihan. One step before she learns all the facts about that night, her love for Nihan confronts her as her biggest test.

  Kemal is almost certain that Emir was involved in his stabbing. Thinking that the accident that happened to Önder was his work, Kemal vows to make Emir pay for what he did.

  Kemal and Nihan face another impossibility in their love after their sister's marriage. As they prepare to fight on this front, they receive shocking news that will hinder all their plans.

  Nihan and Kemal reach the final level in their long-running "that night" research. One step away from the truth, the darkness that awaits them will redraw the fate of the two black lovers.

  Karen's death deeply affects Kemal and Nihan. Karen's husband taking responsibility for the murder is like an open declaration that Emir has a hand in this murder. Kemal is very close to untie the knot.

  Nihan is kidnapped! When Emir and Kemal start to investigate who kidnapped Nihan and why, a surprise name appears in front of them. They compete with each other and against time to save Nihan.

  Kemal's rescue of Nihan and their reunion feeds Emir's resentment and jealousy towards Kemal more than ever. The truth will not let the couple's happiness last long.

  Learning that his brother is a murderer, Kemal makes the most important decision in his life. From that moment on, the great test of Kemal and his family begins. Each of them will give honesty, conscience and justice tests separately.

  Emir is shaken by what he learned from Kemal and has to face his traumatic past. Kemal and Nihan's paths soon cross again. The secret that separates them becomes a knot that unites their days.

  After the images put in front of him, Emir wants to prevent Nihan from leaving, but Nihan is determined. The ropes between Kemal and Emir are also tense. Nihan and Kemal look forward to the day they will be together.

  While Nihan and Kemal are counting the dawn for the day they will reunite, Emir's capture of the entire recording of "that night" will upset all the balances, but the main thing is the magnitude of Nihan and Kemal's love.

  Nihan's suicide attempt shocks both Kemal and Emir. Everyone rushes to the hospital. Kemal is angry. If Nihan clings to life, Kemal will direct the story of the two alone for the first time.
