The pregnancy is confirmed, leaving In Su overjoyed while Ru Na sinks into despair. There, he confesses to her once more, stirring up the feelings Ru Bi has been trying so hard to bury.

Ru Na quietly visits the obstetrician on her own and ultimately decides to go through with an abortion. Ru Na is rattled when she is told to return to work, and her anxiety deepens after receiving a photo from In Su. Meanwhile, In Su is violently attacked by unknown assailants outside his home. At the office, Ru Na comes face to face with both In Su and Ru Bi at the same time.

Gil Ja's family heads out on a picnic with Dong Pal and In Su. Back home, Ru Na is fuming after seeing a photo that In Su sent her. On the special cosmetics sales day, the scheduled host gets into an accident right before going on air. Ru Na steps in to take her place, going live in front of an audience for the very first time.

Riding high after successfully selling out the entire cosmetics line, Ru Na becomes a standout host at JM Home Shopping. Meanwhile, Gyeong Min invites his in-laws to an upscale restaurant for a family dinner. Just as the meal gets underway, In Su arrives at the restaurant with a gift box in hand, throwing the atmosphere into tension.

In Su threatens to reveal Ru Na’s secrets to Gyeong Min, while Ru Na struggles to protect her false identity as Jeong Ru Bi. Meanwhile, Geum Hui causes trouble with her plastic surgery plans, and a rehearsal accident raises new tensions around Gyeong Min.

Ru Bi injures her foot on set, and Gyeong Min helps bandage it, upsetting Ru Na. Meanwhile, In Su continues to threaten Ru Na by sending an ultrasound photo of a baby to Gyeong Min, which alarms her. After that, Ru Na goes straight to In Su’s place to make him an offer.

Ru Na sends Ru Bi on an errand to the company's logistics center. By chance, Gyeong Min happens to be visiting the same location when a security system malfunction traps them both inside together. When word gets out, Ru Na and In Su drop everything and rush over, each with their own reasons for wanting to get there fast.

In the middle of the night, Gyeong Min walks in on Ru Na frantically ripping pages out of her diary. Deeply unsettled by what he sees, he confronts her, and Ru Na brushes it off as stress. Amid the personal turbulence, a competing home shopping company reaches out to Ru Na with an enticing offer to come work for them.

Ru Na encourages Gil Ja to move quickly with In Su and Ru Bi's marriage plans, leaving Gil Ja deeply conflicted. When Gil Ja brings it up, Cho Rim mistakenly believes it is about her future with Dong Pal.

Although In Su refuses Yeon Ho's envelope of cash, he unexpectedly becomes the target of a bribery investigation. As pressure mounts and suspicion spreads, Ru Na accelerates In Su and Ru Bi's wedding plans in hopes of clearing his name.

In Su presents Ru Na with a video of her and uses it as leverage against her. He makes his terms clear: unless Ru Na takes steps to clear his name and remove the false charges against him, he will send the video directly to Chairman Bae and Gyeong Min. Ru Na is left with no easy way out.

Thanks to Yeon Ho's unexpected decision to come forward and turn himself in, In Su is finally cleared of the bribery charges. Later, Ru Na finds herself drinking alone when Gyeong Min unexpectedly crosses her path. Meanwhile, Ru Na takes a significant step forward in her career by signing the production contract for the Jeong Ru Bi Show.
