At Alex's birthday party an exotic boy, Kuru, and elephant, Anala, appear in her backyard.

When Kuru explains Alex has been adopted, Alex is shocked to find it is true. Scared and upset she accidentally erases her family from existence with her magic. To bring them back, Alex has to decide what is really important to her.

At band auditions, Amanda and J.B. discover Anala – Alex's elephant. Alex tells them she is a magical Princess, but they don't believe her. To maintain their friendship she is forced to prove it and attempts a simple magic trick – which goes awry.

Kuru enrolls at Alex's school and is a social disaster! To protect him from certain humiliation by Trent and the school fencing team Alex resorts to magic to make him popular. It gets out of control, and Alex has to bring him back to earth.

When Kuru returns to Manjipoor and is trapped by Vashan, Kuru finds he needs to use a magic gift from Alex. It has unusual consequences for Alex however, when Marcus stays for lunch.

Infected by Vashan's magic, Alex accidentally creates a new girlfriend for J.B. when she practices her destroy spell. On the surface Asuza is a sweet teenager, but in truth she's the total opposite - so Alex must fix things before J.B.

Alex agrees to visit Manjipoor to meet Omar, but when Alex realizes it means being a Princess, she backs out. As a result, Kuru is fired. Alex has to make amends by going to Manjipoor and requesting Kuru be reinstated.

Amanda convinces Alex to make a discreet trip to Manjipoor, and J.B. travels too. They arrive in an enchanted forest and meet a family whose son is a mouse! Alex uses her magic to help them. Vashan senses her presence, and seeks desperately to locate her.

Wanting to know if Marcus is in love with her, Alex does magic and accidentally becomes a frog! To restore her to humanity, Kuru, Amanda and J.B. need to get Alex kissed by her one true love.

Vashan uses magic to transform Diva into a teenage girl and secretly send her into Alex's world to find out her weaknesses. Diva becomes 'Juliet' and disrupts Alex's life by attempting to reveal Anala. In the process she makes Anala very sick.

Diva (as Juliet) gets a lot closer to Kuru to fracture his close relationship with Alex. She steals the magic runes and Kuru and Alex have a major argument.

When Alex discovers that Zoe's only a minor player in her ballet recital, Zoe wants to pull out altogether. Unknown to Zoe, Alex lends her magic ballet shoes, and keeping the situation a secret from their parents, encourages Zoe not to give up.

Mothers Day makes Alex aware of how little she knows about her real mother, Queen Nefari.

Marcus asks Alex to go on their first date. When things go amiss, she uses 'time slip' magic to reverse time and make every moment of the date perfect. Alex decides to tell Marcus the truth about her, but there's a price to pay when it goes wrong.

It's the Royal Elephant Festival in Manjipoor, and Alex will attend as their Princess! But things get out of hand when she sneaks her friends into the function.

Marcus and Alex's closeness causes friction in the band when they form a duo to perform in a gig. With the chance of success, Alex breaks her own code and uses magic when they perform, facing a dilemma about the future of the band and her friends.

A masked Vashan causes havoc at the school's annual ball and a near fatal experience for Alex and Marcus, when he travels to their world for the first time.

Vashan returns to Alex's world and magically makes her the most famous rock singer on the planet. Alex quickly forgets who she really is. Only Kuru, returning from Manjipoor registers the change, and tries to convince Alex to return to her true self.

Amanda goes to Manjipoor and is mistaken by the common people for the Princess in disguise! At first, it's not such a bad thing, until Vashan arrives. Amanda is placed in danger, prompting Alex and Kuru to mount a rescue mission.

While making a music video, Marcus feels there is something going on between Alex and Kuru, and secrets the others share except him. Unexpectedly, the clip becomes helpful for Alex and Kuru when Omar is framed by Vashan for stealing Anala's jewel.

Alex feels pulled between two worlds when Marcus and Kuru get into a fight over her and Anala goes missing! Alex abandons an important recording session to search for Anala and is led to rediscover a childhood memory.

Alex decides to commit to being Princess of Manjipoor. Vashan ensures the job isn't easy, but Alex is determined. Her faith in Manjipoor is shattered however, when she learns a stunning truth about her past. Alex quits and vows never to return.

Kuru says his final goodbyes as Alex is no longer a Princess, his job is over. Free of his obligations he speaks freely of his disappointment in her, causing a fractured departure.

Diva makes her move and takes control in Manjipoor, wounding Omar in a fight. Kuru and Anala spirit Omar to Alex's world. Alex uses magic to help Omar, until Diva returns to capture him and Anala, leaving Alex and Kuru stranded in the Old World.

Alex studies and uses all her magic to break the barrier between the two worlds to rescue Omar and Anala. It's unprecedented! But weakened by her journey, she's no match for Diva who uses magic to defeat Alex and steal her powers.

Her magic stolen by Diva, Alex is regular Alexandra Wilson again. But when Kuru frees her from captivity, she leads a rebellion and fights a climactic battle to overthrow Diva.
