Mush-Mush and friends' favorite play tree, the Fun Tree, is rotten and doomed. But Mush-Mush refuses to give up on it. In a last ditch effort to save the tree, our friends adventure off to try and track down the legendary Starmush, hoping his mysterious healing powers can save it.
When an egg blows down into the village, it is Mush-Mush and friends' mission to return it to Mush Mountain. Two problems though: there is a Beetle Boom on and all the beetles try to charge and knock over Mushables, and Lilit has always wanted to see an egg hatch so secretly drags her feet.
When Sushi-Mushi breaks the only spoon he has ever cooked with, he declares his cooking days are over! So Mush-Mush and friends step up to cook for everyone instead. How hard can it be? It turns out, very! The Mushlers will have to convince Sushi-Mushi he's still the best compost chef, even without his favorite spoon!
Chep is disappointed Mush-Mush and Lilit are too busy leaf-gliding to play moss-ball with him, so he hangs out with a new weevil friend instead. But Chep's new friend must migrate with all the other weevils. Except he doesn't know how to fly! Chep must teach him to fly while overcoming his own secret fear of heights.
Mush-Mush and his friends are determined to win the bark sledge race, but their essential fourth team member drops out. Our friends ask Mushpot to step up from being their coach to racing with them. The Mushelder is reluctant at first but soon reveals the tough competitor he is!
Having rescued a Mushlet, Mush-Mush, Chep and Lilit become heroes in Mushton, and they're loving it! So Mushlers create a rescue team but alas, no one needs saving! How can you be a hero when there is nothing to be heroic about? Then when some Mushlets become adrift on the river, Team Mush-Mush, with Morel's help, have to save the day again.
Chep wants to return a favor to Mush-Mush, but all Mush-Mush wants is to have a compost pancake on Pancake Day! But when the Food Snail falls for, and takes off after, the Travel Snail, Pancake Day has to be cancelled. Chep sees an opportunity to save the day for his friend! But er, how do you solve a snail falling for another?
It's Fool The Forest Day when Mushables pull pranks, and MM has an epic one planned. But they spill Chanterelle's painting dye and instead must replace it by finding a rare Sloof beetle and milking it for its dye in front of everyone. Wait a minute! You can't milk a beetle! They've been pranked!
MM's favorite frog has had its home taken over by a lizard. Mushpot says not to interfere, nature must run its course. But Lilit feels so sorry for the frog she takes it back to Mushton where it causes havoc. Now our friends must lure the frog back to its home where it deals with the lizard itself.
When ants invade Fung and Miff's tree, our Mushlers offer for them to move in but the two quickly turn out to be unbearable roommates. So when Fung and Miff break their trampoline, our friends decide it's time for them to go back to their homes. But first they need to get rid of the ants.
Mush-Mush is amazed by the way Mushpot uses his staff of wisdom and how awesome it makes him look. Mush-Mush wants to be as cool as Mushpot and asks him to lend him his staff of wisdom. But the staff comes with a lot of responsibilities.
The Mushlets love Mush-Mush's heroic stories. But when they demand to see him actually do something heroic, Mush-Mush feels he can't back out - and so ends up stuck up a cliff. Relieved to be rescued by Chep and Lilit, Mush-Mush is about to admit that he isn't a hero when the Mushlets find themselves in danger. Now Mush-Mush has no choice but to be a real hero!
Wanting to rush off to climb Mush Mountain, Mush-Mush is in a hurry checking nectar level in flowers - a job that takes time and care. Soon Mush-Mush's haste causes disaster when he scares all the bees away. Now Mush-Mush and friends have to find a way to lure the bees back…
So Mushpie can take a break, Mush-Mush, Chep and Lilit offer to look after the Mushies, assuring her that everything will be fine. But a Mushie pops to become a Mushlet and escapes. Our friends find him in Muddler's clutches! Now, they must figure out a way to save the Mushlet and return the other Mushies to their cave before the return of Mushpie.
All the Mushables have fun zooming down a long mudslide except Chep, who just can't get up the courage to do it. But when Fung and Miff tease him for being scared, he promises that he will do something that no Mushable has ever done before - ride a grasshopper! Chep is in for the ride of his life!
Puff doesn't like change much. And with spring about to burst forth and all the changes spring brings, he is puffing out nervous fog which is blanketing the whole of Mushton. Mush-Mush and friends need to get Puff to relax and celebrate spring together with all the other Mushables!
When Lilit creates a 'friends tree' mapping out who everyone is best friends with in Mushton, she realizes Muddler has no friends at all. Unable to accept this, Lilit slips away to try and befriend him. But Muddler's perception of friendship is somewhat unique, meaning Lilit now needs the help of her two best friends, Mush-Mush and Chep, to escape from Muddler's clutches.
Everyone in Mushton is finding that their precious wooden things are being munched and destroyed by someone or something. All the evidence points toward Truff's new woodworm pet Chompski. But Truff refuses to believe Chompski would do such a thing! It's up to Chep, Lilit and Mush-Mush to convince Truff. But first they have to catch Chompski in the act!
When Mush-Mush and Chep lose Lilit's flying disc down a snake tunnel, he is confident he can get it back. All animals love Chep and no one knows more about snakes than he does. But this snake is not to be messed with! When they finally sneak into the snake tunnel, they learn why the snake has been acting so strangely…
Chanterelle has built a whistle that can reproduce the most beautiful sound of the forest: the one of the Nightingale. When the whistle disappears, Mush-Mush, Chep and Lilit soon discover that it has been stolen by a beetle. In order to finally hear what a real Nightingale sounds like, they'll have to get it back!
Every time Mush-Mush has tried to surprise his friend with a gift, Chep has always found out what it was. But Chep promises that this time he won't. And Lilit, who is too honest to keep a secret, promises she won't let Chep know what the surprise is. Both of them find this so hard! But Mush-Mush is one step ahead of them…
When Fung and Miff spoil Mush-Mush's fun tunnel surprise he has been working on for ages, he wishes their day was ruined too. And then it is, because they are taken by Muddler! Now our Mushlers have to go on a rescue mission to save Fung and Miff.
When Mushpot wishes he could roll back the seasons and relive being a Mushler, our friends get him to hang out doing cool Mushler stuff. But this just shows that Mushpot is no longer able to do all those things. Sigh! However, when our friends find a map that points to a treasure he buried when he was a Mushler, Mushpot realises it's just the Mushler experience he needed.
The Beacon Mushroom that guides the Mushables back to Mushton in the dark has gone out. So Lilit lights up and stands in its place for the night and soon gets quite bored! Lilit's good deed has her regretting her gift she's basically just a lamp! But when her light goes out, Lilit instantly regrets regretting it: she wants her gift back!
Mush-Mush can't figure out why his sense foot keeps buzzing like crazy until an earthquake shakes the forest. Mush-Mush is sure he predicted it! Convinced he can now predict the future, Mush-Mush starts making predictions for everyone in Mushton.
Mushpie loves to sing. The only problem is she is terrible at it! But Lilit, who has never heard her sing before, wants to make Mushpie happy and organizes a concert for her to sing in front of all the other Mushables… who are terrified at the idea! But Lilit doesn't have the heart to admit this to Mushpie.
Chep is very excited: tonight, a rare and extremely stinky plant is going to bloom! But he already promised Mush-Mush to play their favourite game. When he chooses the flower instead, Mush-Mush is angry and the two friends stop talking. But when Mush-Mush realises that Chep is about to miss the blooming, he decides he won't let that happen and helps his friend!
When Mush-Mush, Chep and Lilit take their compost meals back to their home-tree to eat, they think they have made a great new discovery - compost to go! They set up a delivery service so everyone can eat at home too. It's so cool! Except Sushi-Mushi misses hosting everyone at the Food Snail, and everyone starts missing eating together.
If Mush-Mush had Bolly's speed, he'd want everyone to see just how awesomely fast he was. But Bolly is different - he just likes to use his speed helping Mushables. So when Mush-Mush organizes a big stunt for Bolly, he refuses. He just doesn't like to show off. But Mush-Mush promised everyone a show so a show he will give them with Mush-Mush performing instead of Bolly! Gulp!
Chep becomes obsessed with learning all about Mushlore - all the funny little traditions and things that Mushables believe in. Morel is the expert in Mushlore so Chep becomes his apprentice. But the more Chep discovers about Mushlore the more he becomes a true believer to the point that it becomes quite dangerous!
