The fire of Shek Kip Mei in 1950's was in -fact caused by the careless "land god" of the region. He was then sent back to the heaven. The "land god" does not know that the heaven has been modernized after the three hundred years of his duty on land. Now the "land God" has been renamed as the "spirit".

SING is frightened by TUNG who appears so suddenly before his eyes. He jumps down Tram the second floor and falls onto LUK CHI CHUEN who is the main character of the movie. Both of them Taint.

TUNG is frightened by the fire scene on television. She rushes in the hotel. PING and the old spirit are happy as they have got TUNG's photo.

Being affected by alcohol, YING kisses SING whom she regards as CHUEN. TUNG is shy to see the intimacy between them. By mistake, she turns the light on and wakes them up. They are embarrassed.

SING is ashamed as he knows that his performance relies so much on TUNG's assistance.

The others are impressed by SING's speech. TUNG wants to help SING but SING refuses her for his own dignity.

TAI wants to kill himself in the hotel. TUNG wants to save him but by mistake, she pushes him out of the window. TAI is sent to hospital and CHING takes good care of him. TAI is surprised. Later he discovers that CHING gets a large sum of compensation as he has become paralysed.

TAI takes a chivalrous spirit to punish YUN's uncle and drives them away. TAI has mercy on YUN and shoulders the responsibility to take care of her. YUN thanks him.

CHING does not want to lose the compensation and she returns to the hotel, suggesting to marry TAI at once. TAI does not know what to do and the others worry about him.

SAIR WING SING and MA VICK SUE bring their daughter JOE YI back to Hong Kong. The couple indulge in gambling. They rush to bet immediately after they get off from the plane. They even do not know that their daughter has got lost.

TUNG is trapped and the old spirit is unable to help her as his magic tools are taken away by FA.

The hotel becomes a gathering place for human beings and ghosts to gamble. TUNG uses magic to catch FA but in vain. Luckily the old spirit helps her to escape.

SUE bets with FA in order to save SING, using her life as the chip. FA uses tricks to win the game and uses magic to take away their lives. The others have no way to stop her.

HUNG and HIU TUNG move into the hotel to recall their sweet memory. PING is jealous of HUNG. In the past, HUNG and PING were good partners on the stage and good friends. They admired TONG but TONG only loved HUNG. This spoiled their relationship.

The villagers attack the hotel and the employees are hurt. TUNG returns and tells the old spirit that there is no medicine. The old spirit is shocked as he has to be a human being.

TAI D falls down from the roof as he wants to save FAT. TUNG grasps him but she hurts herself.

HIU TUNG thanks KIT who has brought so many customers to the hotel. She is deceived and touched by KIT's appealing plan in buying the hotel.

By mistake, TUNG and Piggy Spirit get into the steaming cage. TUNG escapes and the Spirit Supervisor arrives. However after steaming, Piggy Spirit has changes his appearance. He calls himself YING HUNG to take in the spirit Supervisor.

TUNG is depressed as she will evaporate. YING HUNG is happy. The Old Spirit advises TUNG to make YING HUNG break rules. However they are trapped by YING HUNG. Fortunately TUNG has an idea. She is allowed to stay as there are two masters in the hotel.

HIU TUNG becomes a Tierce woman while FUNG turns into a weak one. All are happy except the Old Spirit who worries about it.
