In the first episode of this year's team, the four-member show travels to one of the most popular exotic destinations in the world! Happy travelers get on the plane and go off the coast of Africa, to the Indian ocean, to the enchanting Seychelles! In the first part of the trip, in the Indian Ocean archipelago they explore the largest island of Mahe with the capital Victoria. They start their journey from the northern part of the island, the largest of the 115 islands in the archipelago. They tour the country's capital, Victoria, which is one of the smallest capitals in the world, and learn the basics about the history of this very special country. They go to the botanical garden to admire giant tortoises, try local recipes and explore Beau Vallon and other idyllic beaches that will blow their minds.
In this episode, Euthychis and Elektra board a catamaran to go to the other two major islands of the Seychelles archipelago and see the 2 best beaches in the country that can easily make the list of the 10 best beaches in the world.
In this episode, Eutychis and Elektra first visit the national park and the traditional tea processing factory. Cape Ternai and Port La Noi beach could not be missing from their travel list. Then they walk the most popular hiking trail, the Copolia Trail and go to the beach market. Their walk reaches Port Glaud, the waterfall and Lazare Beach.
The show travels to Southeast Asia and begins its exploration of Vietnam from the south of the country and the largest city, Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.
Happy Traveller, in the previous episode, started an exciting journey in Southeast Asia and specifically in Vietnam, continues its tour in the southern part of the country. Eutychis and Electra go to the city of Mai To to see an impressive Buddhist temple with giant statues from Buddhas. Next is a boat ride on the Mekong River Delta where they see picturesque fishing villages, farms with local crops, a coconut dessert workshop and a crocodile park. They return to Ho Chi Minh City, where they explore food markets and take a food tour by motorbike to the most sought-after neighborhoods to try special and unusual Vietnamese flavors in local food joints, canteens and sidewalk shops.
Happy Traveler goes to Eastern Europe and starts a trip to Moldova. The country that is considered to be the least touristic in all of Europe. The purpose of travelers is to learn first hand the beauties that this country hides and if it is ultimately worth as a travel destination. Euthychis and Elektra, in the first part of the trip to Moldova, explore the capital Chisinau, see the most important historical sights, stroll through the beautiful central parks, go to food markets and the huge bazaar where you can find all kinds of second-hand goods. Of course, they don't fail to try the local cuisine, which pleasantly surprises them!
Initially, they see in the capital some historical buildings that have a direct connection with Greece, such as the church of Agios Panteleimon, the Tsoufli monastery built by two Greeks from Tsepelovo, Ioannina, and the house of Michalis Katsikas, which was one of the headquarters of the Philiki Etairia before revolution of 1821.
This week, Happy Traveler stays in Greece with Eutychis and Elektra traveling to the beloved Epirus to see the lesser known side of Zagori.
In this episode, we see the first part of the road trip in the southern part of Albania, in the region also known as Northern Epirus. Our travelers pass the border of Mertzani which is next to Konitsa and drive parallel to the river Aoos. They go to Premeti where, in addition to the city, they also see the famous baths with the beautiful stone arched bridge of continental architecture. Then they pass through Kleisoura with its emblematic gorge and impressive bridges. They visit Tepeleni and end up in the area of Delta Aoos where they see its mouth in the Adriatic Sea. Finally, they reach the Holy Monastery of Panagia Ardenitsa, the Monastery of Agios Kosmas of Aitolos where the tomb of PatroKosmas is also located, as well as the ancient Apollonia.
They continue their journey and initially make a small detour on their way to see the beautiful Berat or Verati, which is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Albania. Then they go to the country's third largest city and first capital, Avlona. They also see salt flats with pink waters and the Narta lagoon with the picturesque monastery of Panagia on an island. The trek continues with an impressive beach that looks like our own Voidokoilia where they see a wonderful sunset in the Adriatic.
We are guided to its center, to the sunny Aristotelous Square, to the crowded beach and of course to the imposing White Tower. They go to Kamara but also to Kapani, to the flower shops and of course to the famous Ladadika, day and night. They admire the umbrellas and the statue of Alexander the Great, skate and bike on the new beach, go boating in Thermaikos and tour the city on a tourist bus. They walk around the castles with the incredible view from where they see the sunset and visit the international tourism exhibition. The episode could not miss the church of Agios Dimitrios, who is also the patron saint of Thessaloniki.

Happy Traveler travels as a family to the far away country of Asia and starts the tour from Delhi, the capital city, the mega city, which is the second most populous city in the whole planet. They explore new and old Delhi with its historical monuments and chaotic markets. They see the iconic red fort, impressive temples like the Lotus Temple, the Gateway of India, masterfully crafted mausoleums, the Raj Ghat monument dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and many more. In a country with such a strong culinary identity and interesting national cuisine, our travelers do not fail to try Indian delicacies – very hot food, street food, local drinks and strange sweets that make them love Indian cuisine a little more.
The journey to India continues with a roadtrip in the so-called "golden triangle" and the first stop is the historic Jaipur, also known as the "Pink City" thanks to the special color with which most of the buildings are painted. They see the most important sights of the city, such as the palace of the wind with almost 1000 windows, the palace of the water where 4 of the 5 floors are submerged in the lake, the impressive castle Amber, but also the palace of the royal family in the center of city, with the impressive rooms. In the city center, admire the world's largest sundial and take endless strolls through the markets located in the winding alleys of the old town. Finally, they climb one of the hills around the city to admire the view and see an imposing Hindu temple.
The first Happy Traveler of the new year is winter, it is inside Greece and it is in Pelion.
Happy Traveler travels to a special destination, Transnistria. It is a semi-autonomous entity - not officially recognized state - within the territory of Moldova, between the Dniester River and the Ukrainian border. It is an area of Europe that when you visit it as a traveler, you feel like you are traveling in time and going back to the time of the Soviet Union.
Our travelers go to Ranthambhore National Park on safari in the hope of seeing tigers up close. In the neighboring town, they climb high on cliffs to see impressive Hindu temples inside caves while at night they spend the night in a very special room - tent. Further along the route, they stop and see a very strange huge stepped well, where they have been collecting water during the monsoons for centuries. Soon after, they stroll through the impressive red city of Fatehpur Sikri and admire the imposing palaces. The last stop on their route is the city of Agra, home to the historic Agra Fort and the majestic Taj Mahal! The world-famous attraction, considered one of the most important architectural creations and included in the World Heritage Sites.
Our travelers drive parallel to the shores of the Ionian Sea opposite Corfu and visit historical sites and places of particular natural beauty as well as villages with a strong Greek element. They descend from the Logaras pass and the Akrokeraunia Mountains and go to the village of Palasa and the village of Drymades. Next is Heimarra with its beautiful beaches and the imposing castle where the old village is located perched on the rock. They also see the historic Greek school "Homeros" and meet many Greek expatriates who live there. The next stop on their journey is Kiparos where, in addition to walking, talking with locals and eating in the center of the village, they climb up to the old settlement which is perhaps the most beautiful and picturesque settlement of the entire area. They then pass through Bors or Borsi, where they see the impressive castle on top of the hill, make a stop at Pikerni or Pikerasi and finally reach Lukovo.
Our travelers start their walk from the historic monastery of Agioi Saranda, from which the city takes its name. After admiring the seaside town from above, they go a little further south to the other hill with a view, where the Lekoursi castle is located. In this castle they also meet their friend Leonidas, who lives there permanently and gives them a lot of interesting information about the city of Saint Saranda and the history of the area.
Eutychis and Electra start from Examili, opposite Corfu. They explore the islets of the area and go for a swim on the island of "Jamaica" with its "double" beach. They visit one of the most important archaeological sites in Albania, Vuthroto, the ancient city with its Hellenistic, Roman, Ottoman and Venetian past.
They depart from Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, and fly to the city of Da Nang in the center of the country. They explore the old capital of the country, Hoi An with its traditional architecture, beautiful temples, the famous Japanese bridge and the characteristic river, which they go for a ride in a traditional round fishing boat. They visit one of the most important ancient cities of Indochina, My Son, which was bombed by the Americans during the Vietnam War. Then they go to the largest theme park in the country, Ba Na Hills. They enter the longest continuous cable car in the world and ascend to 1,500 meters where they have built a castle-state with towers, amusement parks, imposing temples and vast gardens. There they cross one of the most famous bridges in the world: the Golden Bridge with "huge hands" that leaves them speechless with its architecture!
This episode finds our travelers in central Vietnam and the city of Da Nang. They wake up at dawn to walk on the huge beach and to admire the hundreds of fishing boats that are moored in the city's bay. They go to monkey mountain and admire the huge statue of the female Buddhist deity of mercy, also known as Lady Buddha. They go to the "marble mountains" with impressive cave temples and a food market where they try local Vietnamese food.

Happy Traveler and Eutychis Bletsas embark on a magical journey to Peru, one of the most interesting travel and culinary countries in the world. In the first part, Euthychis visits the capital city of Lima with its picturesque historic center and impressive coastline on the Pacific Ocean, while walking through different neighborhoods of the city and exploring the local markets. He then heads south to the Pisco region and boards a small plane to view the famous Nazca lines and massive formations from above. In the fishing village of Parakas, he goes boating to the Balestas islands and enjoys Peruvian fish and seafood delicacies. In Cusco explore the historic center with its huge imposing square and admire the unique architecture that combines Inca culture with the classic colonial style of the Spanish conquistadors. He walks the picturesque narrow streets, tries delicious recipes and visits special temples and local markets. Then it arrives at one of the most magical natural attractions on the entire planet. It climbs to an altitude of 5000 meters to see and admire the famous colorful mountain of the Andes, the "rainbow" mountain of Peru! Finally, he embarks on a journey through the sacred valley of the Incas to reach Machu Picchu, which he explores in another episode of the show.

Our travelers start their tour from the iconic arch - a trademark of the city. They see the historic center with buildings of special architecture, many of which have been built during the period when India was under the occupation of the British Empire. They wander through chaotic markets trying local delicacies, enter the historic train station and go to the laundromat neighborhood, where the endless spread of clothes creates an unprecedented travel image. Finally, they take a boat to "Elephant" Island in the center of Bombay Bay, where they explore caves with Hindu temples and visit a small village where they experience the daily life of the locals up close.
This time, they travel to northern Vietnam and explore the country's most popular destination, the spectacular Ha Long Bay with its iconic rock formations that create a world-class setting. They also reach the deserted Lefki beach and the seal cave in Alkyonides Bay. They climb the Geraneia Mountains and visit the Holy Monastery of Saint Patapios. They pass through Pisia and Perachora and reach Lake Vouliagmeni where they take a dip in its warm waters. Their route continues to the Heraion Lighthouse or Melagavi Lighthouse, which is considered one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Greece, and from there they enjoy a unique sunset.
