The story takes a new turn as Shivanya gives birth to a baby girl. As Shivangi grows up bearing same features of her mother, Shivanya tries to keep her daughter away from the dark past. But destiny awaits to confront Shivangi's true identity on 'Kal Ratri'.

In an attempt to get Shivangi married before her 25th birthday, Shivanya gets her daughter to meet Aditya in a club. Coincidentally, Rocky happens to be there with Ruchika. Rocky makes it clear to Yamini that he is not in favour of getting engaged to Ruchika. On the other hand, Shivangi gives in to her mother's request and agrees to marry Aditya.

On being questioned about her feelings for Rocky, Shivangi confesses her love for him to Shivanya. Earlier, Rocky gets into a fight with Aditya to prove his love for Shivangi and make her realise her feelings as well. Later, Yamini and Sesha plan to kill the girl involved with Rocky. Will they be successful?

Shivangi is shot at the party and is rushed to the hospital. Shivanya performs a 'Tandav' at the temple to bring Shivangi back to life. Later, Shivanya senses danger and urges Shivangi to get married to Rocky as soon as possible. Being informed by Yamini about Shivanya and her daughter's existence, Ruchika sets out to kill Shivangi.

With the help of Ruchika, Yamini plots the marriage ceremony of Shivangi and Rocky where she confronts Shivanya and stabs her! After 25 years, Ruchika breaks the wall and releases Mahishmati Avantika from the curse. In order to take the revenge, Avantika plans to kill Shivanya and Shivangi.

In a shocking twist of events it is revealed that Shivanya impersonated Shivangi in order to save her daughter from death. Earlier, Ruchika throws Shivanya down the cliff in the presence of Yamini and Mahishmati. They presume Shivangi to be dead. Later, Shivangi gets to know the truth about her mother and vows to avenge her mother's death. However, Shivangi thinks even Rocky is responsible for her mother's death. Rocky reveals Rudra's ill intentions behind marrying Alia to the family, even Yamini gets a glimpse of Rudra's 'Nag' avatar. Earlier, to keep her identity of 'Ichadhari Naagin' a secret, Shivangi temporarily loses her powers by shedding her 'kechuli', but Ruchika gets hold of the 'kechuli'. Akhilesh stabs Shivangi to protect himself. Earlier, after getting hold of the Naagmani, he tries to sell it by manipulating Ruchika and Avantika. In order to keep the Naagmani safe, Shivangi attacks Akhilesh but gets stabbed by him instead. Will Shivangi survive?

Mahesh in his plan to seek revenge discovers Shivangi’s identity. He decides to ignore it for the time being but as the Naagmani is in his possession, what will he utilise it for? Earlier witnessing Anky’s death, Mahesh escapes with the Naagmani and joins hands with Yamini to locate the serpents in the house.
