Twelve-year-old Luke Ellis's family is killed by uninvited guests who knock on their door at midnight. When the kidnapped boy opens his eyes, he finds himself in an institute. There are many other children here with supernatural abilities like his own. Experiments are being conducted on the children at the institute, and they suspect that some of the kids have died as a result. Luke and his new friends search for a way to escape the institute.
