In the story set in the afterlife, people who are forced to live unreasonable lives rebel against God due to their fates when they die. All the rebels, led by a girl named Yurippe, belong to SSSe (Shinda Sekai Sensen/Dead World Battlefront), and their rebellion against God is depicted through their battles against angels.
