Although the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy has not yet been officially confirmed, given the immense success of the first game, it seems inevitable that Warner Bros. Games will prioritize it. The most exciting aspect of a potential Hogwarts Legacy 2 is that the game's open-world structure offers a vast area for a sequel.

Fans are eagerly anticipating that Hogwarts Legacy 2 will include a feature not present in the first game: a playable Quidditch mini-game. However, this is not the only neglected feature that players want to see. Many fans are also excited about the unique Wizarding World potential of how it could affect the relaxed student lives at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

On Reddit, fans are sharing their desire to become an Animagus in Hogwarts Legacy 2. This would allow players to transform into a specific animal at will, and depending on whether this is implemented as a mandatory core feature related to the game's story and main character or as a player-chosen ability, it could significantly impact the gaming experience.

User lilbunxian is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to become an Animagus: "I can't wait for the chance to become an Animagus; I want them to add it this time." User SortaFunny999 is also excited but hopes that the Animagus ability will take over Hogwarts Legacy's emphasis on customization, stating, "If we don't like the form the game automatically gives us, I think we should be able to choose from a list."

Of course, if this ability exists in Hogwarts Legacy 2, it will likely need to be integrated into the main character's backstory. This is because the ritual to become an Animagus is an extremely time-consuming and arduous process. Realistically reflecting this process in the game could disrupt the player's experience and become quite tedious.
