In an interview with Variety during the premiere of the new Apple TV comedy film The Dink, Ed Harris revealed that he felt "misled" about his character's role in the nine episodes of the first season. "Before joining this project, there was quite a bit of talk about what the season would be and what my character would do — and I was told I was one of the four main characters," Harris stated, clarifying that this was not the case. The Westworld star did not hide his dissatisfaction with the outcomes. "I said I feel underutilized and insignificant, and they said, 'Oh,'" he added. "It's said that my character will have a bigger role in the second season. Obviously, I was a bit disappointed."
