Franco lets his father know that Lucía is the only person who has managed to tame the 'Duchess'. He rejects the idea of a woman working with his mare and expels her from the ranch. Franco tries to convince his father that Lucía is the right person to tame 'Duchess', but he categorically rejects the proposal and warns him that he is forbidden from entering the ranch.
