Karie claims her husband of eight years, Michael, won’t live in the same house with her, refuses to support her financially, and even bullied her into signing a postnuptial agreement which entitles her to zero spousal support should they divorce. Michael denies bullying Karie into signing the postnup and claims he’s just trying to protect his estate and help them avoid expensive legal fees should they ever terminate their marriage. He claims Karie should understand since she broke his trust by cheating in the past. Karie says she’s tired of feeling pushed around, but wants to stay married to Michael because she feels “old and not pretty enough” to find someone new. And, she and their children, Kristina and Eric, desperately hope Michael will toss out the postnup — whether they stay together or not.
