As penance, Krishna persuades Dronacharya to sacrifice his life. Meanwhile, Dhrishtadyumna beheads Dronacharya. The Pandavas, Krishna and the Kauravas pay their homage to Dronacharya. Later, using the boon given to Gandhari, she decides to save Duryodhan's life.
