Rinko is in charge of the hit-and-run case. The suspect is Shigenori Saito, directed by popular actor Mitsuoka Shunta. Saito seems to be deeply remorseful, but he insists that he "has no memory of hitting a person," and Rinko and Aihara begin a detailed investigation. When she meets her popular actor, Aihara is disappointed by Rinko, who is more nervous than usual.
