Eileen Shim is a writer and producer best known for her work on television series such as House of the Dragon (2022), The Acolyte (2024), and Light as a Feather (2018). She studied comparative literature and international studies at Yale University. She later pursued a career in writing and cultural commentary based in New York. Early in her career, Shim contributed articles to outlets such as the Yale Daily News, where she wrote on topics ranging from theatre to university life, starting in 2009. Transitioning into television, she gained recognition as a writer for the supernatural thriller series Light as a Feather, credited with writing and teleplay work across multiple episodes.
