Midst follows three protagonists – a cantankerous outlaw, a struggling cultist, and a wicked scoundrel – as their lives intersect in unexpected ways in the town of Stationary Hill after the mysterious civilization known as the Trust takes an interest in the islet of Midst where the town is situated.
