Unable to cope with this, Bekir kills his wife and decides to ruin Cevat. Everyone thinks Bekir's mistress Nevin is a relative, and he has a daughter named Nilgün with her. Cevat is ill and unknowingly signs all the checks brought in through Bekir's schemes. Cevat's wife Macide wants a divorce but demands a very high price for it. Cevat then has a bomb placed in her car. Macide escapes, and Bekir learns that Cevat is responsible, leading him to threaten him, which results in Cevat's suicide. Cevat's son Orhan becomes an enemy of Bekir and vows to make him pay for all of this. Nazan, Nilgün, and Ayşin are very close friends who have spent their childhood together.
