A passenger plane belonging to American Airlines traveling from Boston to Los Angeles gets caught in a strange storm and vanishes into nothingness. When the passengers, who are in shock from the incident, wake up, they realize that the crew and many passengers have disappeared. Only 10 people have survived this abnormal event. The passengers, consisting of a blind girl, a teacher, a musician, a mysterious writer, a factory worker, a businessman, an Englishman, a suited maniac, and an unidentified sleeper, manage to make an emergency landing thanks to the sacrifices of the master pilot.
