This limited-run series is an adaptation of the Argentine show Resistiré. Torres, a former Miss Universe, portrays a woman caught between her bioterrorist fiancé and her bodyguard, played by Todd Cahoon. Catherine Oxenberg and Casper Van Dien also appear as antagonists. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has yet to announce plans for a DVD and/or Blu-ray release of this series. Telefe, which produced the original version, syndicates a 64-episode run of the series across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. It promotes the show as blending a classic Latin genre with Hollywood aesthetics. Starting in July 2009, it aired in Slovakia on TV Markíza, taking the slot of Latin American telenovelas, but the show did not achieve significant success.
