Harun, the heir of Arslanoğlu Maritime Transport company, lives in the family mansion with his father Feyyaz, mother Saadet, sister Işıl, brother-in-law Burak, and their children Sinem. Their only apparent trouble is the occasional outbursts of their mother Saadet, who suffers from Alzheimer's. Melda lives in an old house inherited from her grandfather with her father Cemil, mother Türkan, sister Eda, and brother Kerem, and works as the Foreign Trade Officer at the Arslanoğlu company. Her father Cemil owns a small car repair shop. As a result of his friendship with Melda, Harun has proposed to the young girl. While Melda's hesitation to respond immediately causes stress for Harun, she is also pondering how to deal with a lie she told months ago.
