Time Team is a British television series that has been airing on Channel 4 in the UK since 1994. Created by television producer Tim Taylor and hosted by actor Tony Robinson, each episode features a team of specialists conducting an archaeological dig over three days, with Robinson explaining the process in layman's terms. This team of specialists changed throughout the series, but has consistently included professional archaeologists like Mick Aston, Carenza Lewis, Francis Pryor, and Phil Harding. The sites excavated during the show's run span from the Paleolithic era to the Second World War.
