The Powerpuff Girls is an animated television series about Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three kindergarten-aged girls with superpowers, along with their "father," the brilliant scientist Professor Utonium, who all reside in the fictional city of Townsville, USA. The girls are often summoned by the town's childlike and naive mayor to help combat nearby criminals using their powers.
