In ancient Chang'an, merchant Yin Xinyue, dancer Lin Yange, and an official's wife Su Yi form an unlikely friendship while facing their own hardships. Determined to change their fortunes, they establish the city's first clinic dedicated to women's health. Together, the three women challenge social conventions to overcome class barriers and the lives they choose for themselves.
