The Chestnut Man begins with the discovery of a young woman's body in the park, missing one hand, alongside a toy doll. It continues with young detective Naia and her partner Mark investigating the murder, uncovering a connection between the doll and a previously missing child that reaches all the way to a politician. This toy doll, made of chestnuts and matchsticks, is a signature left by the serial killer who has been unsettling the residents of Copenhagen.
