It follows the lives of two unlicensed Swedish private investigators in Los Angeles. Ingmar Andersson (Peter Stormare), a former stuntman, works as a private investigator at his own company called "Swedish Dick." His path crosses with Axel Kruse (Johan Glans), who is struggling to make it as a DJ. Axel decides to give up his DJ career to join Ingmar, and they rename the company "Swedish Dicks" as partners. While trying to solve various cases, they also compete with Jane McKinney (Traci Lords), the best investigation firm in Los Angeles and Ingmar's long-time rival. Axel is also busy researching Ingmar's past.
