Survivor Türkiye is the Turkish adaptation of the popular reality show Survivor. This version aired on Kanal D in 2005 and on Show TV in 2006, 2007, and 2010. From the start, Survivor was a hit in Turkey, but the production costs became too high for Kanal D, and even Show TV struggled to produce it annually. Due to these costs, the show went on hiatus in 2007 and returned three years later. The prize for the first seasons was 150,000 euros, 250,000 euros for the second and third seasons, and 500,000 dollars for the fourth season.
