Super Inggo
Super Inggo is an International Emmy-nominated fantaserye that aired on the Philippine television network ABS-CBN. Its main character is Budong, a 10-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a real-life superhero. Unbeknownst to him, he possesses superhuman strength and abilities inherited from his superhero father and villain mother. The series premiered on August 28, 2006, and concluded its first season on February 9, 2007, ranking second in the nationwide Philippine Nielsen ratings. The show returned on November 3, 2007, titled Super Inggo 1.5: Ang Bagong Bangis as a prelude to the future events in Book 2 of the superserye. ABS-CBN re-aired the series under the title “Super Inggo: The Director’s Cut” on September 22, 2008, before “Boy & Kris.”
