Sucupira is a coastal town in Chile. Federico Valdivieso, the mayor, a rogue, scoundrel, and womanizer, is determined to get re-elected. One of his main goals is to inaugurate the Sucupira cemetery, a feat he cannot accomplish because no one is dying. In his quest to make this happen, he finds himself in hilarious situations.
