The series tells the story of a couple who suddenly decide to divorce after 20 years of marriage, reigniting their relationship post-divorce. They still live in the same house on a weekly rotating basis while taking care of the kids. Meanwhile, the other stays in the guest room. Lena (Jenna Fischer) struggles to build a new life after divorcing her husband Martin (Oliver Hudson). Despite approaching his fate with optimism, Martin questions what went wrong in their marriage.
