During the Vietnam War, a half-French, half-Vietnamese man who spies for the communist forces is forced to flee to the United States with his general as the war comes to an end. While living in a community of South Vietnamese refugees, he secretly spies on the community and reports to the Viet Cong, struggling between his loyalty and his new life.
