Sell This House
Sell This House is a reality television series that began airing on the A&E television network in 2003. Host Tanya Memme and designer/home stager Roger Hazard assist homeowners struggling to sell their properties. Initially, cameras are set up to capture prospective buyers' reactions during a one-day open house, followed by Memme reviewing and discussing the feedback with the homeowners. Afterward, Hazard provides his assessment. He, Memme, the sellers, and their friends and family then collaborate to stage the home, addressing, minimizing, or concealing any issues he has identified, all on a budget of a few hundred dollars. This typically includes painting, decluttering, and rearranging furniture. Finally, the same potential buyers return for a second walkthrough. In 2011, for season 9, the show's title was changed to Sell This House: Extreme, and the format was extended to one hour. Construction expert Charlie Frattini and designer Daniel Kucan joined the cast.
